Degassers and degassing tablets
Degasser is a flux preparation (powder or tablet) for high-temperature processing of non-ferrous metals (in particular, for degassing aluminum), i.e. removing gases from the melt.
Degassers are designed to improve the qualities and properties of metal: deep volumetric refining and degassing treatment of aluminum and zinc-based melts, modification of the structural components of alloys.
Degassing
Degassing is one of the most important stages in the preparation of non-ferrous alloys. Degassing is performed using degassers, which remove gases and non-metallic inclusions dissolved in the melt, increase fluidity and increase the density of the metal.
Degassers from DLC”Evtektika” will rid the metal of non-metallic inclusions and gases, create a reducing furnace atmosphere and a protective coating layer on the surface of the molten metal. Despite the low consumption (from 0.01 to 0.5% depending on the type of preparation), our degassers prevent the interaction of liquid metal with the atmosphere, thus reducing metal losses during melting.
Degassing tablets manufactured by DLC”Evtektika” are pressed/sintered tablet flux compositions.
Production of degassers
Degassing agents undergo preliminary mechanical and thermal treatment: before tableting for direct transportation and use, the components of future degassers are crushed, mixed in the required proportions (mixed), then dried, calcined/sintered/melted.

The component composition and high quality of degassing agents manufactured by ODO “Eutectica” give the required result when melting metal. In addition, the use of degassing tablets of Belarusian production ensures the production of cast blanks with specified mechanical and operational properties cheaper than when using so-called foreign analogues. Degassing tablets are introduced into the melt in an immersion bell, which allows for refining and refining-modifying treatment of the melt with the highest efficiency at minimal drug consumption.
Tablet degassers for processing non-ferrous metals and alloys are supplied in aluminum foil or in sealed polyethylene packaging and are completely ready for use. This ensures high technology and environmental safety of transportation and use.
